A-Line Magazine

Hey Everybody! I know I've been neglecting my blog for a bit, but I thought I would show you some love and post what I've been up to lately. Check out this month's issue of A-Line Magazine. I had the great pleasure of working with the very talented Tamia Stinson, and photographing the beautiful stylists Brock Maitland & Marsha Ashley of Style Edit!

Thanks so much for all your great work guys! To see the images alone, check them out on my website! Otherwise check back for a few goodies later. :)

Hello all, this is the beautiful Veronica and handsome Juan! I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement and wedding. I must say these two are absolutely adorable together! And Veronica makes the most beautiful bride. I couldn't resist, I simply had to share something. Stay tuned, there's more to follow!

Work in progress...

Here are some snapshots from a current work in progress. Right now I'm experimenting with different materials, and working large scale. Lets see how this pans out!

Cincinnati Fashion: Earth and Industry Spring 2010 Collection

As an experiment for a printmaking class, I decided to have a go at some not-so-literal fashion illustration with printmaking techniques and mixed media. I partnered up with the talented Ashely Marie Bowman. I had an absolute love affair with her short lace gown (pictured directly below). I am glad to see a designer that is not afraid to mix fabrics and textures!

Vatican

I also made a visit to the Vatican today...I plan on going back to take more pictures, i had to hurry through the Basilica (I spent too much time in the museum), and i still had to make it to the Borghese Gallery otherwise i would miss my reserved time slot! But these are just a few of the photos i shot.

Check back soon for info about Borghese!

Trevi Fountain

Here are some okay pics i took at the Trevi fountain, just to give you an idea...I tend to take a lot of pics of the same thing, so i appologize, but i couldn't help myself. And i love horses, in case you couldn't tell. Its great to just wonder through the streets of what looks like a normal city, and then stumble upon great artwork like this, in the middle of chaos.

Rome, day one!

So i got into Rome a little earlier than expected, but that was fine, because that meant i got to take a stroll before it got too dark. When it did though, i took some pictures of the Colosseum. Enjoy!

Florence...day two

Today I visited the Boboli Gardens, the Galleria dell'Accademia and the Palazza Pitti. Whew! That was a LOT of walking for one day. It doesn't help that both locations are on opposite sides of the ginormous city center. But it was definitely worth it.

Seeing Michelangelo's David was amazing, along with the Mapplethorpe exhibition. It was great to see both artists displayed side by side. The connections made between the two where definitely interesting to see pointed out. And this was the first time i got to see Mapplethorpe as well, so huzzah!
